Timber Frame and Timberwork Services

Kettle River Timberworks can provide a turnkey service handling design, engineering, fabrication and installation of your timber frame.  We work closely with the client, general contractor and architect to ensure that the project runs smoothly to completion.  We also design, supply and install SIPs (structural insulating panel) systems for your home.

DESIGN

Kettle River specializes in the design of timber joinery.  We will work with you and your architect or designer  to ensure that the timberwork design meets all your expectations.  This process is facilitated by our use of 3D CAD software which allows you to fully visualize your design before committing to the next step.  We also use an engineering analysis (FEA) software to check the sizing and stresses of all the timbers in the frame.  Finally, we will generate all the drawings and documents required for the project. 

 FABRICATION

All our timberwork is cut using a state-of-the-art computer controlled 4-axis timber milling machine in Squamish, British Columbia.  Each timber is chamfered, pre-stained to your specification, labelled and carefully packaged to protect it on the journey to your building site.

INSTALLATION

Kettle River's crew is experienced and equipped for installing your timberwork.  We are fully insured and in good standing with the WCB of British Columbia.
